THE PROBLEM

Organizations serving vulnerable populations often lack the resources to provide fresh, meaningful books or listening materials.
This gap leaves many without the comfort, connection, and emotional support that reading or listening to meaningful content can offer during difficult times.

OUR MISSION

To ensure people facing illness, aging, homelessness, incarceration, grief, or other hardships have access to books and listening materials that offer comfort, wisdom, and connection.

OUR IMPACT

Each year, Radiant Book Giving selects the most uplifting new titles (in the first year just one, more in later years), raises philanthropic funds to acquire them, and handles all outreach, logistics, and shipping.
We then match and deliver these books to the individuals and institutions that need them most—offering hope, resilience, and light during difficult times.

How you can Help?

With full transparency, our projected costs to achieve these goals are allocated as follows: acquisition (~63%), outreach (~16%), operations (~15%), and distribution (~6%)—all dedicated to delivering books to deserving readers. Every dollar or hour of your generosity makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we are committed to helping.
Although every dollar makes a difference, a minimum donation of $50 enables us to acquire a meaningful number of books, thoughtfully match them with readers who will benefit most, and ensure they are delivered to those who need them most.
